A modern traffic net with traditional standards

NEDVTN is an independent amateur radio net that bridges modern digital repeater networks and reflectors with traditional National Traffic System/Radio Relay International routing, opening formal messaging to all licensed operators across various operating modes.

New operator onboarding

Stations of all experience levels are welcome to join the net and practice traffic handling. This is an encouraging environment for new traffic handing stations, and we commit to helping you learn to the extent you commit to learning. We also host a comments session after passing traffic to acquaint stations and promote camaraderie.

Regional net liaison

We have direct inlets and outlets to traditional HF, VHF, and CW traffic nets, providing a resilient digital pathway for formal messages in and out of the First Region. We also have digital stations to pass traffic through our digital infrastructure. Learn more about how traffic moves through the system. We are not an official liaison net but have the tools to get traffic routed accordingly.

"NEDVTN gives operators an accessible, crystal-clear way to participate in regional traffic handling, extending our message pathways across all of New England."
